On September 5, members of the volunteer organization “Blago” completed the cycle of children's holidays for the Day of Knowledge with an event that they held for children from low-income families in the village of Sobolevo, Yuryevets district.

It's good they made it out to the kids in Sobolevo from those low-income families. Our parish here in Wichita does small backpack drives for the school start too, nothing fancy but it helps. God give the Blago volunteers strength to keep going.

You're right, Niki, Sobolevo is far away and the children there don't have much. I saw they also made cheese and apple sandwiches for everyone before the games. I hope they find money to continue next year.

Thank you, Daria, it’s good that they do this in Minsk too - collect notebooks with backpacks after the service. We only got to Sobolevo this year, although we wanted to do it earlier. Are your villages far away that you don’t always have time to get to?
