Yesterday after lunch, Lyudmila and I and two other women wiped candlesticks and washed the floor in the church before the Intercession. I brought my embroidered napkins to the throne, they fit well. This evening I’ll go light the candles, and then my granddaughter promised to come by with a pie.

We will gather on Saturday morning in front of the church and with a few members of the parish we will go on foot to the monastery of St. Jovan Višni. I'm thinking of bringing a homemade pie with cheese and some apples from our garden. Who wants to get in touch, I'd love to go together.
