1) Paul, by the will of God an Apostle of Jesus Christ, and Timothy brother, 2) to the saints and faithful brothers in Christ Jesus who are at Colosse: 3) grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always praying for you, 4) having heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you have for all the saints, 5) for the hope that is prepared for you in heaven, which you heard in the word of the truth of the gospel, 6) which has come to you, as it has in the whole world, and is bearing fruit and growing like yours, from the day you heard and knew grace God in truth, 7) as we learned from Epaphras, our beloved fellow worker, he is a faithful servant of Christ Jesus for you, 8) who made known to us about your love in the Spirit. 9) Therefore, from the day we heard [about this], we have not ceased to pray for you and ask that you be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, 10) that you walk worthy of God, pleasing [Him] in everything; bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of God, 11) being strengthened with all strength according to the power of His clarity, in all patience and long-suffering with joy, 12) giving thanks to God the Father, who has made us worthy to participate in the lot of the saints in the light, 13) Who has delivered us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, 14) in whom we have redemption through His Blood, remission of sins, 15) Who is the image of the invisible God, the Firstborn of every creation; 16) because in Him everything was created in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible: whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers - all things were created through Him and in Him; 17) and He is before all things, and all things stand in Him. 18) And He is the head of the body of the Church, who is the Firstfruits, the Firstborn from the dead, that in all things He might have the preeminence, 19) for it pleased [the Father] that all fullness should dwell in Him, 20) and that through Him he might reconcile all things to Himself, making peace through Him through the blood of His cross, whether things are on earth or things in heaven. 21) And you, who were once alienated and enemies by feeling, in evil deeds, 22) have now reconciled in the body of His flesh by His death, in order to present you holy and blameless and blameless before Him, 23) if you remain thorough and steadfast in the faith, and steadfast in the hope of the gospel which you heard, which was proclaimed to every creature under heaven, which I, Paul, became minister. 24) Who, I now rejoice in my passion for you and make up for what is lacking in the passion of Christ in my flesh for His Body, which is the Church, 25) of which I have become a minister according to the dispensation of God given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, 26) the mystery that was hidden from ages and generations, but has now been revealed to His saints, 27) by whom God willed to make known [what] the riches of glory in this mystery to the Gentiles, which is Christ, the hope of glory in you, 28) Whom we proclaim, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may make every man perfect in Christ Jesus; 29) for which I labor, striving according to His action, which works in me with power. 1) For I desire that you know what care I have for your sake and for the sake of those who are in Laodicea, and [for the sake of] all who have not seen my face in the flesh, 2) that their hearts may be comforted, being instructed in love and in all the riches of the fullness of understanding, to know the mystery of God the Father and of Christ Jesus, 3) in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4) I say this so that no one will deceive you with pompous speeches. 5) For although I am absent in body, I am with you in spirit, rejoicing and seeing your prosperity and the strength of your faith that is in Christ. 6) Therefore, just as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, [so] walk in Him, 7) being rooted and built up in Him, and established in the faith as you were taught, abounding in it with thanksgiving. 8) Be careful that no one entices you with philosophy and empty deception, according to human tradition, according to the elements of the world, and not according to Christ; 9) for in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily, 10) and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power. 11) In Him you are circumcised, not with a circumcision made by hands, which puts off the sinful body of the flesh, but according to the circumcision of Christ; 12) having been buried with Him in baptism, you were raised with Him by faith in the power of God, who raised Him from the dead. 13) And you, when you were dead in sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, forgiving you all your iniquities, 14) having destroyed the handwriting of the decree that was against us, which was against us; and He took [him] out of the way, nailing him to the cross; 15) and having taken away the principalities and powers, He boldly led them [to His triumph], having openly triumphed over them with Himself. 16) So, let no one judge you for food, or drink, or part of the holiday, or the new moon, or the Sabbath: 17) which are the shadow of the future, the body / etc. i.e. reality / same – Christ’s. 18) Let no one deceive you, self-willingly in humility, and by the ministry of Angels [et religione angelorum], intruding into what he has not seen, being inflated in vain by his carnal understanding 19) and not holding fast to the Head, from Whom the whole body, being supplied and held together with joints and bonds, grows with the growth of God. 20) So, if you and Christ died to the elements of this world, then why else do you make decisions as if living in the world: 21) “do not touch,” “do not taste,” “do not touch”? 22) Which is all [doomed] to destruction from its very use, according to the commandments and teachings of man. 23) This has the appearance of wisdom in superstition and [false] humility, and mercilessness towards the body; not to any honor for the satiety of the flesh. 1) So, if you have been resurrected with Christ, seek those things that are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God; 2) think about things above, not about things on earth. 3) For you are dead, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4) When Christ appears, your life; then you too will appear with Him in glory. 5) Therefore put to death your members which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil lust and covetousness, which is idolatry, 6) for which the wrath of God is coming on the sons of unbelief, 7) in which you also once walked, when you lived among them. 8) Now put away everything: anger, rage, malice, blasphemy, foul language from your lips. 9) Do not lie to one another, having put off the old man with his deeds, 10) and put on the new man, who is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him who created him, 11) where there is neither pagan nor Jew; neither circumcision nor uncircumcision; neither barbarian nor Scythian; neither slave nor free: but Christ is all and in all. 12) So, as God's chosen ones, saints and beloved, put on you with gracious mercy, kindness, humility, modesty, patience, 13) supporting each other and forgiving each other if anyone has a complaint against anyone: just as the Lord has forgiven you, so have you. 14) Above all this, have love, which is the union of perfection. 15) And let the peace of Christ rejoice in your hearts, to which you were called in one body, and be grateful. 16) Let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teach and admonish one another together with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God. 17) Whatever you do, in word or deed, [do] everything in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God and the Father through Him. 18) Wives, submit to your husbands as is fitting in the Lord. 19) Husbands, love your wives and do not be harsh with them. 20) Children, be obedient to your parents in everything, for this is pleasing to the Lord. 21) Fathers, do not lead your children to anger, lest they become cowardly. 22) Servants, obey in everything your masters according to the flesh, not serving [them] in appearance as people-pleasers, but in simplicity of heart, fearing God. 23) Whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as for the Lord and not for men, 24) knowing that from the Lord you will receive your reward of inheritance. Serve the Lord Christ. 25) For whoever causes offense will receive for what he has done lawlessly, and there is no respect of persons with God. 1) Masters, show your slaves what is due and just, knowing that you also have a Lord in heaven. 2) Be constant in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving, 3) praying together for us, so that God will open the door for us to speak, to proclaim the mystery of Christ (for which I am in chains), 4) so ​​that I may reveal it as it should be proclaimed to me. 5) Treat others wisely, valuing your time. 6) Let your speech always be with grace, seasoned with salt, so that you know how you should respond to anyone. 7) Everything that concerns me will be brought to your attention by Tychicus, beloved brother and faithful servant, and fellow worker in the Lord, 8) whom I sent to you precisely for this purpose, so that he would learn about your circumstances and comfort your hearts, 9) with Onesimus beloved (and faithful brother), who is from you. They will bring to your attention everything that is happening here. 10) Aristarchus, who was captured with me, greets you, and Mark, a relative of Barnabas, about whom you received orders: “If he comes to you, receive him,” 11) and Jesus, called Justus, who are of the circumcision. They are my only helpers for the Kingdom of God, and they have been my consolation. 12) Epaphras, who is from you, a servant of Christ Jesus, greets you, always striving for you in prayer, so that you may stand, perfect and filled with all the will of God. 13) For I bear witness of him, that he is doing great work for you and for those in Laodicea and Hierapolis. 14) Luke, the beloved physician, and Demas greet you. 15) Greet the brothers in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and his house church. 16) And when this epistle has been read to you, have it read also in the church of the Laodiceans; and that which is to the Laodiceans, you would also read. 17) And say to Archippus: “Be attentive to the service which you have accepted in the Lord, so that you may fulfill it.” 18) Greetings with my hand, Pavlova.
