I know the strength of your love. Although we once lived with you for a short time in Antioch, my most honest and reverent master, we saw many experiences of your wisdom and your reverent love for us. A lot of time has passed since then. But we still retain complete love for you and imagine your presence as vividly as if we saw you yesterday or the day before. Therefore, we write to you now and ask you never to forget us. We were exiled to Kukuz, the most desolate place in our universe, and here we are almost daily under siege from the attacks of the Isaurians. With all this, despite such a sad situation, we will draw the greatest consolation in our suffering if we positively know that we enjoy from you that sincere favor for which we firmly hope from your love.
