In the absence of another, more correct list of the charter, the damaged places in it were checked with two letters of Photius to the Kiev-Pechersk monastery, in which the same instructions are repeated almost verbatim (Addition to the Historical Act. vol. I, No. 180). And for this sake, do not judge our humility for the sake of seven, not knowing the creator of that honest monastery of the written charter, and I wrote for this sake to you, although you see that ktitor 1939 charter. And now they sent to me their brothers, monk Ephraim, monk Nicephorus with their writings; But you tell us and write that you didn’t have that charter written in 1940. And because I put aside this prohibition and burden to Dionysius, for the sake of the fact that I did not commit it according to the correct tradition, not in my own region, nor in the bishopric, and I am writing to you, O Lord, beloved children of our humility, from the divine scripture in a little way, because, according to your scripture, my tongue is stuck: you will not allow me to write much, but you yourself are more skilled in nature, according to your scripture, the gospel of Christ's gospel, and the divine scriptures of the fathers, and the rules of monasticism. 1941 The ancient union of 1942 monasticism was foreshadowed by the holy Apostles, when their number was up to 500, and again their involvement in the service was greatly increased, even up to 5,000, their communications, and from them we were given all sorts of possessions and attractions; Whoever understood 1944 from the grace of Christ, even if 1945 this is short-lived, it is future and blessedly joyful. We must, on the day of that great and terrible judgment, tremble about our confession, be terribly tortured, but have the work of retribution: for this reason I pray, in everything may the manner of living an honest, worldly life be from you; We should be a perfect life of God, and immaculate, and blameless in everything. I pray to you: let immeasurable drunkenness and disorderly behavior of all kinds not be in you; Do not forget the words of the great preacher Paul from the mouth of Christ: “drunkards will not inherit the kingdom of God.” And for this reason I am writing to your monastics, lest the name of God be blasphemed from our beginning, and the robe of the great angelic image be seen, to our eternal condemnation, and for this sake our corruption, deified by our Creator, may not fall into eternal torment. Let us not enslave the soul to a temporary, corruptible entity: since the corruptible body can be corrupted by worms, but the soul is immortal and eternal. And for this reason, my children, I pray you to decorate everything with eternal spiritual richness, so that you will be worthy to hear the good words of the Gospel of Christ saying: “Come, blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you.” I pray to God, the lover of mankind, who comforts the humble, that he may comfort your hearts in all good faith and purity, and may he strengthen you in every deed and word of blasphemy 1961, and in humble chastity, comprehending all his saved paths, as if 1962 may the gospel of Christ prosper, and may all things be filled with the glory of God and the angelic instructions 1963 life 1964, hedgehog there is a magnificent residence and glory is everlasting. 1965 And I pray that you may be worthy to receive this, and may my prayer for these be with you. And for this reason, it is not worthy to drive such people out of the monastery, but to seek them out, to receive them and heal them spiritually, with spiritual healing, like skilled healers, with a spiritual potion that heals wounds. Whoever is so careless about the punishment of the monastery, and not seeking spiritual healing, like a rotten oud, will escape from a healthy body, from the haven of an honest monastery, forgetting God’s word, the Prophet says: “In what I find, in that I judge,” and to have worldly people incite sedition against the spiritual superior, as you write, and against the brethren: and about According to the rules, we forbid the worldly to do such things and to enter into such monastic things; It is impossible for them to have reasoning in such places.
