And that Vladyka Denisy got involved in something other than his own business, and copied an inappropriate letter, and I am destroying that letter. And you, my children, Pskovites, will have already walked according to that charter of the great Prince Alexandrov, but then you will have old times, and you will walk according to that old times. And what about the letter from Denisyev, send that letter to me, I’ll give it to you 1326 myself: that letter is not a letter. And what inscribed the curse of the patriarch’s unblessing, otherwise I remove it from you and bless you: it was the ruler of Suzdal, and he acted in a time of rebellion; but the patriarch did not order him to do this. And you, my children, walk according to your duty, and judge the courts according to the old times. And whoever is to blame is free, of course; show what guilt is against them, but of course you are free: act according to the old times, purely and without sin, just as all Christians do.
