186. Благословение Старца

Most venerable Mother of the Treasurer Magdalene in the Lord! I received your letter dated October 10 with three rubles and thank you for your zeal for our monastery. The name of the newly deceased novice Alexandra was recorded for church commemoration and is commemorated according to our established order. May the All-merciful Lord rest her soul in the Heavenly settlements of the righteous, I pray for this. The answer to your penultimate letter was sent both to you and to the last one. Evstolia, and Varvara the teacher, and Paraskeva, and Lydia Ivanovna. Have you really not received this letter? If my letter disappeared, it is a great pity. If Lydia Ivanovna gets sick from singing, then it would be better for her, on the advice of doctors, to give up singing, or at least sing less often and more easily and generally take care of her health. I wish the novice Eustolia to recover with God’s help. Asking for peace and God's blessing for all of you, I remain with sincere goodwill. You might be interested in:
