(Heb. 1, 1–12; Mark 2:23–3:5) They began to take the cup of the Lord and were at the Lord’s supper: glory to Thee, O God! glory to You, God! glory to You, God! This is a great day with the Lord! Glorious celebration in heaven! There is no city, no village, no house where there would not be communicants. Throughout the entire space of Russia, throughout the south and east - how many persons, clothed in the white robe of justification, tasted the Divine life and sincerely united with the Lord! The body of the Lord was renewed - the body of the Church, and clothed in its characteristic glory, hidden from the eyes of men, but visible to the eyes of angels. The angels bowed to the Firstborn when He was brought into the universe in His power: but now they bowed to Him because the universe is brought again to Himself. They bowed and sang: “Thy throne, O God, endures forever; the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your kingdom; You loved righteousness and hated iniquity" (Ps. 44:7-8) You might be interested in:
