The miraculous power of Father John's prayers

5 years have passed since the death of dear Father Father John, and we continue to joyfully observe that day after day both those who were accustomed to holding on to him during his lifetime, as well as countless new pilgrims from all over our land, and even foreigners, come to his sacred tomb. Obviously, people are drawn here by faith that the soul of the deceased shepherd in God, freed from the bonds of the flesh, even more boldly than during life, intercedes for them before God; bowing before the deceased, they talk about their troubles and needs, hoping for protection, sympathy, assistance “Hope will not be put to shame,” says St. apostle (Rom. 5:5). We often hear expressions of joy and gratitude to our dear priest for his holy prayers, and it is impossible, of course, to measure and describe the entire amount of his gracious help, for no one knows what is in a person, only the spirit of a person living in him... This publication, already the third since the death of the priest, contains statements about cases of grace-filled help in the last two years. Also included here are reports of some cases that occurred during Father’s lifetime, but have not yet been recorded. All messages have been verified by us and can be certified by the healed themselves and their relatives, and there are written messages from those living outside St. Petersburg addressed to the abbess of the monastery, Abbess Angelina.
