About the need to keep intact the Nicene-Constantinopolitan Creed.
After reading this, the Holy Council determined: no one should be allowed to pronounce, or write, or formulate a faith other than that which was determined by the holy fathers gathered in the city of Nicaea, with the assistance of the Holy Spirit. And whoever dares to either invent someone else's faith, or to introduce it to it or offer it to those who want to turn to the knowledge of the truth from paganism, Judaism or any kind of heresy - let them be strangers, if they are bishops or clergy, bishops of the episcopate, and clergy of the clergy; if they are laymen, let them be anathematized. Likewise, if any bishops, or clergy, or laymen are convicted of either philosophizing or teaching what is contained in the exposition presented by Presbyter Charisius about the incarnation of the Only Begotten Son of God, or teaching the wicked and perverted dogmas of Nestorius, which are placed below, let them be subject to the verdict of this holy Ecumenical Council. Namely: for the bishop to be alien to the episcopacy and deposed, for the clergy to also be expelled from the clergy. If he is a layman, let him be anathematized, as has already been said.
