On the condemnation (eruption) of the remaining lower-ranking clerics for the same offenses.
If any of the clergy retreats and dares either privately or publicly to philosophize like Nestorius or Celestius, then the Holy Council considered it right that they too should be deposed.

Εἰ δέ τινες ἀποστατήσαιεν τῶν κληρικῶν, καὶ τολμήσαιεν ἢ κατ᾿ ἰδίαν, ἢ δημοσίᾳ, τὰ Νεστορίου, ἢ τὰ Κελεστίου φρονῆσαι, καὶ τούτους εἶναι καθῃρημένους ὑπὸ τῆς ἁγίας συνόδου δεδικαίωται.
