Canon 2
On the condemnation (dethronement) of bishops for the same offenses.
If any bishops of the metropolitan region were absent from the holy Council and joined the apostasy, or attempted to join, or, even after signing the deposition of Nestorius, returned to the apostate assembly, such, according to the decision of the holy Council, should be completely alien to the priesthood and deprived of their degree.

Εἰ δέ τινες ἐπαρχιῶται ἐπίσκοποι ἀπελείφθησαν τῆς ἁγίας συνόδου, καὶ τῇ ἀποστασίᾳ προσετέθησαν, ἢ προστεθῆναι πειραθεῖεν, ἢ καὶ ὑπογράψαντες τῇ Νεστορίου καθαιρέσει, ἐπαλινδρόμησαν πρὸς τὸ τῆς ἀποστασίας συνέδριον· τούτους πάντη κατὰ τὸ δόξαν τῇ ἁγίᾳ συνόδῳ ἀλλοτρίους εἶναι τῆς ἱερωσύνης, καὶ τοῦ βαθμοῦ ἐκπίπτειν.
