Canon 50
On the prohibition of gambling for laity and clergy.
From now on, no one at all, be it a layman or a clergyman, plays dice, but if anyone is caught doing so, then if he is a cleric, he will be deposed, and if he is a layman, he will be excommunicated.

Μηδένα τῶν ἁπάντων εἴτε λαϊκῶν, εἴτε κληρικῶν, κυβεύειν, ἀπὸ τοῦ νῦν· εἰ δέ τις τοιοῦτο φωραθείη πράττων, εἰ μὲν κληρικὸς εἴη, καθαιρείσθω· εἰ δὲ λαϊκός, ἀφοριζέσθω.
