About the inviolability of keeping the faith set forth by the Holy Fathers.
According to the will of God, at this glorious meeting, first of all, the church faith transmitted through us must be confessed with the same confession, then, with the consent of each and all together, let the church order be observed.
To confirm the way of thinking of our recently ordained brothers and co-bishops, we need to add what we received from the fathers as a firm instruction: we sacredly hold wisdom about the unity of the Trinity, that is, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, a unity that has no cognizable difference, and, as we have learned, so we will teach the people of God.

Σύμπασα ἡ σύνοδος εἶπε· Θέλοντος τοῦ Θεοῦ, ἴσῃ ὁμολογίᾳ ἡ ἐκκλησιαστικὴ πίστις, ἡ δι᾽ ἡμῶν παραδιδομένη, ἐν ταύτῃ τῇ ἐνδόξῳ συνελεύσει πρωτοτύπως ὁμολογητέα ἐστίν· ἔπειτα ἡ ἐκκλησιαστικὴ τάξις, μετὰ συναινέσεως ἑκάστου, καὶ ὁμοῦ πάντων, φυλακτέα ἐστί. Πρὸς βεβαιωτέας δὲ τὰς τῶν ἀδελφῶν καὶ συνεπισκόπων ἡμῶν τῶν ἔναγχος χειροτονηθέντων διανοίας, ταῦτα δεῖ προσθεῖναι, ἃ παρὰ τῶν Πατέρων βεβαίᾳ διατυπώσει παρελάβομεν, ὥστε τῆς Τριάδος, τουτέστι τοῦ Πατρός, καὶ τοῦ Υἱοῦ, καὶ τοῦ ἁγίου Πνεύματος τὴν ἑνότητα, τὴν μηδεμίαν ἔχειν διαφορὰν γινωσκομένην, ἣν ταῖς ἡμετέραις διανοίαις ἐγκαθιερωθεῖσαν κατέχομεν· καὶ καθὼς ἐμάθομεν, οὕτω τοὺς λαοὺς τοῦ Θεοῦ διδάξομεν. Ὁμοίως ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐπισκόπων τῶν ἔναγχος προαχθέντων ἐλέγχθη φανερῶς· Οὕτω δεχόμεθα, οὕτω κατέχομεν, οὕτω διδάσκομεν, τῇ πίστει τῇ εὐαγγελικῇ ἅμα τῇ ὑμετέρα διδασκαλίᾳ ἑπόμενοι.
