About anathema to those who are virgins, not because of the beauty of virginity, but because of the abomination of marriage.
If anyone maintains virginity or abstains and abstains from marriage because he abhors it, and not for the sake of the very virtue and holiness of virginity, let him be anathema.

Εἴ τις παρθενεύοι ἢ ἐγκρατεύοιτο, ὡς ἂν βδελυκτῶν τῶν γάμων ἀναχωρήσας, καὶ μὴ δι᾽ αὐτὸ τὸ καλὸν καὶ ἅγιον τῆς παρθενίας, ἀνάθεμα ἔστω.
