About the prohibition for women to enter the temple and receive communion during menstruation.
Regarding women who are in purification (ἐν ἀφέδρῳ), whether it is permissible for them to enter the temple of God in such a state, I consider it unnecessary to ask. And they themselves, as I think, being faithful and reverent, in such a state will not dare to approach the holy table or touch the Body and Blood of Christ, just as the wife, who suffered from bleeding for 12 years, for the sake of healing touched not Christ Himself, but only the hem of His robe. There is no shame in praying, no matter what state or position one is in, remembering the Lord and asking Him for help, but it will be forbidden to approach the Holy of Holies if one is not completely pure in soul and body.
