XVII Festival of Bell Art in Averkievotranslated

On July 12, with the blessing of Bishop Nikolai of Balashikha and Orekhovo-Zuevsky and with the support of the administration of the Pavlovo-Posad urban district, as part of the celebration of the 5th anniversary of the formation of the Balashikha diocese, the XVII Festival of Bell Art was held on the territory of the Trinity Church in the village of Averkievo. The festival was attended by the acting head of the Pavlovo-Posad urban district S.V. Balashov, a teacher of campanology at the Sretensky Theological Academy, the bell ringer of the Sretensky Stavropegic Monastery in Moscow N. I. Zavyalov, the clergy, bell ringers and parishioners of churches, the general public, residents and guests of the district. The dean of the Pavlovo-Posad church district, priest Alexander Anokhin, performed a prayer service in the co-service of the clergy of the deanery and addressed those present with a pastoral word. Then the participants of the holiday were greeted by S.V. Balashov and N.I. Zavyalov. The clergy and laity who worked in organizing the festival were awarded with certificates of honor from the head of the Pavlovo-Posad urban district. 26 bell ringers performed at the festival, each of whom received a participant diploma and memorable gifts.
