The Orthodox Church Calendar of the Gomel Diocese for 2027 has been releasedtranslated

With the blessing of His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, the Information Department of the Gomel Diocese has prepared and released the Orthodox Church Calendar for 2027 “Witnesses of Christ’s Truth.”

The Orthodox calendar of the Gomel diocese is an annual calendar, liturgical, reference and information publication intended for the clergy and laity.

The calendar contains a complete month book with liturgical notes, indicating church holidays, fasts and days of remembrance of saints. The publication also provides information about the liturgical features of the year, church anniversaries and memorable dates, birthdays and namesakes of the clergy of the Gomel diocese.

Special attention in the calendar for 2027 is given to the 90th anniversary of the martyrdom of Archpriest Pavel Levashov. The publication includes an article by the chairman of the Commission for the Canonization of Saints of the Gomel Diocese, Archpriest Alexander Lopushansky, dedicated to the life and ministry of Father Paul. An article by I. A. Grishchenko “Hieromartyr Pavel Levashov: the feat of witnessing the truth” was also published.

Thanks for the info. The focus on the 90th anniversary of the martyr Pavel Levaschov sounds interesting, especially the two articles by Father Alexander Lopushansky and I. A. Grishchenko. I'll get the calendar, our choir always lacks good reference books for the saints of the year.

It is good that they remember Father Pavlos Levasov and the 90 years since his martyrdom. Those two articles you mention, by Fr. Alexander Lopusanski and I. A. Grisenko, should be useful. I'll try to find the diary too.
