All-night vigil on the eve of the Transfiguration of the Lord: archpastoral service of Bishop Theognost in the village of Pelymtranslated

On August 18, on the eve of the great feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord, Bishop Feognost of Serov and Krasnoturinsky celebrated an all-night vigil in the Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the village of Pelym. Concelebrating with His Eminence was the rector of the church, Priest Vasily Kisilev. The service took place in a prayerful atmosphere, uniting parishioners on the eve of the patronal celebration.
At the end of the all-night vigil, a solemn award ceremony took place: Bishop Theognostus presented certificates to the benefactors and workers of the parish, noting their selfless work for the good of the Church. The Bishop also expressed special gratitude to Father Vasily for his diligent service and presented him with a letter of gratitude. Then the Many Years was proclaimed to all those awarded.
At the end of the service, the archpastor addressed the parishioners with the words of a sermon and cordially congratulated everyone on the upcoming patronal feast day and the feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord.
