On September 2, the VI meeting of sectologists of the Brest diocese was held at the parish of the Church of the Tikhvin Icon of the Mother of God in Brest.

The meeting was attended by clergy responsible for anti-sectarian activities in the deaneries of the diocese.

During the meeting, issues of non-traditional religious activity in the diocese and methods of countering sectarianism were discussed.

It is good that such a discussion is taking place. S.A. Did Zigman from Minsk talk about specific things happening in the region? Here in Larissa we see similar with neopagans and various "spiritual" groups, so I understand the need.

Yes, it’s interesting that Zigman specifically told about our diocese. In Germany, too, sometimes all sorts of “spiritual” groups appear that first promise enlightenment, and then begin to lead people away from the Church. It’s good that priests are doing this locally.
