In Zhlobin, employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations prayed before the icon of the Mother of God “Burning Bush”translated

On the day of the celebration of the icon of the Mother of God “The Burning Bush,” employees of the Zhlobin regional department for emergency situations gathered for prayer in the Cathedral of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity in the city of Zhlobin. This image is revered by rescuers who turn to the Most Holy Theotokos as their heavenly Intercessor and Patroness.

A thanksgiving prayer service on September 17, 2026 was performed by the dean of the churches of the Zhlobin district, Archpriest Alexey Smotritsky. The head of the regional department for emergency situations, Evgeniy Mikhailovich Buslov, and the personnel of the department prayed during the service.

At the end of the prayer service, the priest addressed those gathered with a pastoral word, blessed them with icons of the Mother of God and sprinkled them with holy water.
