It is good that the courses have started. Our old grandfather in Telavi still remembers how bells were rung by hand before mechanical ones were made. Maybe they have a good teacher in Nizhny?

Good to see the courses starting up in the Nizhny Novgorod diocese. Our bell-ringer at the Manchester cathedral learned the old-fashioned way too, no mechanics, just listening and copying the senior bloke for months. Wonder if they’ve got a proper teacher lined up like your grandad remembered in Telavi.
