Parishioners are invited to the patronal feast day by the parish of the Church of the Holy Martyr John the Warrior, who cares for the rural shrine.
A trip will be organized for pilgrims. You can sign up for it at the reception of the Church of St. John the Warrior by calling +7 951 804-46-23.
The Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Nizhnepetropavlovskoye was built in 1801–1826 at the expense of parishioners to replace the old wooden church. After it was closed by the Soviet authorities in the 1930s, the temple was looted and used as workshops and a stable.
Today, the shrine, which is a cultural heritage site of regional importance, is gradually being restored. The Divine Liturgy will be a historical event for the ancient temple.
