Military Builder's Day was celebrated in Privetninskytranslated

On August 7, on the eve of Military Builder's Day, a thanksgiving prayer service was held in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in the village of Privetninskoye.

Before the service, veterans, officers, graduates and teachers of the Military Engineering and Technical University, together with the rector of the church, Archpriest Vitaly Timchenko, visited the burial places of officers who served at VITU. A funeral litany was held here for the deceased soldiers and university teachers.

The thanksgiving prayer service in the Resurrection Church was led by the dean of the Roshchinsky district, Archpriest Dionisy Kholodov, co-served by the rector of the parish, Archpriest Vitaly Timchenko. Veterans, officers, graduates and university teachers prayed during the service.

At the end of the prayer service, Archpriest Dionysius congratulated those gathered on their professional holiday, thanked them for their many years of service to the Fatherland and wished God’s help, strength and further success in their work.
