With monastic splendor the Holy Festival of the Transfiguration Monastery of Sotiros Zavordastranslated

With particular monastic splendor and in an atmosphere of spiritual rapture, the holy festival of the historical Holy Transfiguration Monastery of Sotiros Zavordas was celebrated, in memory of the Holy and Wonderworker Nikanoros, founder and patron of the Holy Monastery. The holy services of the festival were attended and participated by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Grevena, Mr. David, who went to the Holy Monastery and took part in the overwhelming Holy Vigil in honor of Saint Nikanoros, praying for the pious people and the brotherhood of the Monastery.

On the main day of the feast, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Grevena Mr. David went to the historical Metochio of Agios Dimitrios, where he presided over the Divine Liturgy, conveying to everyone the wishes and paternal blessing of our Saint.

In the Catholic Church of the Holy Monastery, where the liturgical events of the festival continued, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Kydonia Mr. Athenagoras, representative of His Holiness the Ecumenical Patriarch, remained and presided over the holy services.
