On the Feast of the Honey Savior, a traditional religious procession took place in the village of Dokudovotranslated

On August 14, on the Feast of the Origin of the Honest Trees of the Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, a religious procession with icons of the Iveron Mother of God and the Great Martyr Panteleimon took place in the village of Dokudovo, Lida region.

The procession proceeded from the worship cross at the beginning of the village to the church in honor of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The rector of the church, Priest John Peshko, served a water-blessing prayer service and blessed the honey of the new harvest. The priest congratulated everyone on the holiday, as well as on the beginning of the Dormition Fast.

Such a celebration is an event that all villagers look forward to every year. This long-standing tradition is based on specific historical events. During the First World War, the parish suffered high mortality rates from starvation and disease. Residents of the village of Pudino, which at that time was part of the parish of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Dokudovo, ordered the Iverskaya icon of the Mother of God and brought it to this church with a procession of the cross, and later this became a tradition.
