In the village of Slyudorudnik, a dome and a cross were installed on the chapel of Archangel Michaeltranslated

July 28, 2026 · 1 min read

The anniversary charity fair “At the Mines” was held here, which for 10 years has become a meeting place for craftsmen, musicians, artists, travelers and everyone who loves the Southern Urals. The main event of the event was the consecration and installation of the dome and cross on the chapel in honor of Archangel Michael. The rite of consecration was performed by the dean of the Kyshtym deanery, Priest Mikhail Chirkov, and the rector of the Church of the Descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles of Kyshtym, Priest Konstantin Semenov. The chapel in Slyudorudnik has been under construction since 2017. Funds for construction and improvement are also collected during the fair. Over the years, a foundation, walls, windows, doors and ceilings have appeared. Interior finishing work will continue. Now we have to improve the area around the chapel and create convenient approaches to it. CDRO Chelyabinsk Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. All rights reserved.
