The Novospasskaya school celebrated the Day of Family, Love and Loyaltytranslated

July 8, on the Day of Family, Love and Loyalty, at Novospasskaya Secondary School No. 1 named after A.S. Makarenko had a meeting with the rector of the church in the name of the Holy Trinity in the village of Trinity Sungur, Archpriest Andrei Korshunov.
The priest told the schoolchildren about the holy saints Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom, the patrons of this holiday. Father Andrey reminded the children of the story of a married couple who went through trials, poverty and exile, but remained faithful to each other until the end of their lives. According to church tradition, after their death they miraculously ended up in the same coffin, which became a symbol of the inseparability of their union.
During the conversation, the priest spoke with the children about family values: the importance of mutual understanding, caring for loved ones and the ability to forgive.
“The story of the saints Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia,” noted Father Andrei, “reminds that a real family is built on time-tested loyalty and love.
