The Minsk Theological Seminary will host weekend theological courses on the topic: “Family is a small Church”translated

From October 16 to 18, 2026, with the blessing of His Eminence Benjamin, Metropolitan of Minsk and Zaslavl, Patriarchal Exarch of All Belarus, weekend theological courses on the topic: “Family is a small Church” will be held in full-time format at the Minsk Theological Seminary.

The courses are aimed at parishioners of Orthodox churches, students, graduates and teachers of higher and secondary educational institutions, as well as at everyone who wants to improve their knowledge in the field of Orthodox doctrine.

Course Features:

lectures are conducted by teachers of the Minsk Theological Seminary;

The topics of the lectures cover a wide range of issues;

the lectures will be understandable and interesting to those who are just beginning to learn the Orthodox faith, as well as to churchgoers who want to supplement or deepen their knowledge;

interactivity: at the end of each lecture, teachers discuss the topic of the lecture with students and also answer questions.

Family in Scripture;

The teaching of the holy fathers on the family;

Sacrament of marriage;

Canonical aspects of church marriage.
