“Our native Upper Ufaley is now going through a difficult time: due to heavy rains, flooding occurred, and the misfortune has affected many Ufaley families. Homes, farms, gardens were damaged, and the usual way of life was disrupted; now people need our support more than ever. Let this feasible help become our common cause, done from the bottom of our hearts, and let many small good deeds add up to great support, and this will become a real support for those who have lost the most necessary things,” they addressed their fellow countrymen at the parish. The temple announced a fundraiser and emphasized that any support is important. With the blessing of Metropolitan Alexy of Chelyabinsk and Miass, the Social Department of the Chelyabinsk Diocese joined in collecting assistance for the affected residents of Upper Ufaley.
