On September 17, the Hospital of St. Alexis, together with the Ivanovo-Voznesensk diocese, opened a classroom. In it, sisters of mercy and volunteers will undergo professional training in caring for seriously ill and injured patients. After preparation, they are expected in hospitals and clinics in Ivanovo and the Ivanovo region. The class is located on the basis of the spiritual and educational center of the Church of the Holy Prophet Elijah.
The consecration of the new classroom was performed by the secretary of the Diocesan Administration of the Ivanovo-Voznesensk Diocese, Priest Georgy Vityazev, and the head of the social department of the diocese, Archpriest Viktor Makarenkov.
