The Day of Family, Love and Fidelity will be celebrated on a large scale in Chelyabinsktranslated

On the holiday dedicated to the day of remembrance of Saints Peter and Fevronia, the Murom miracle workers, several significant events will be held in the regional capital.

On Wednesday, July 8, the celebration will begin with the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ at 9:00. At the end of the Liturgy, a prayer service will be held for the noble princes Peter and Fevronia.

After the Liturgy in the cathedral, the clergy and believers will proceed in procession to the monument to the patron saints of the family in Rozhdestvensky Square.

At 18:00 the Family Parade will take place for the fourth time in Chelyabinsk. A column of citizens will move from the monument to Igor Kurchatov along the pedestrian part of Lenin Avenue towards Enthusiasts Street. Representatives of authorities, public organizations, associations, veterans' organizations, large families will walk to the central entrance to the Gagarin Park of Culture and Leisure. There will be a festive concert and honoring of families.

All week long, family parish holidays dedicated to Saints Peter and Fevronia will be held in the churches of the Chelyabinsk diocese.
