On September 13, 2026, the consecration of the chapel in honor of the Holy Royal Passion-Bearers took place on the second floor of the new terminal of the Nicholas II Airport in the city of Murmansk.
In the concelebration of clergy, the chapel was consecrated by Metropolitan of Murmansk and Monchegorsk Mitrofan, who noted a big step in returning the historical memory of the Kola region, reports the website of the Murmansk diocese.

“We must not forget who the founder of the city of Romanov-on-Murman is, through whose prayers our region flourishes: the holy Passion-Bearers, the Kola saints and all the saints - this is our hope and hope,” said the archpastor.
The significant event was attended by the general director of the Spas TV channel Boris Korchevnikov, the clergy of the diocese and airport passengers.
