It’s good that priests from the First City and Assumption deaneries reached the schools of Perm and the region. In Yaroslavl, too, sometimes priests come to such holidays, and then the children remember them longer. I wonder which schools they were in - they didn’t write the names?

It is good that the priests went to the schools in Perm and the surrounding area, the children surely remember longer as Anton from Yaroslavl says. They also come to us in Tetovo sometimes on holidays in primary schools, especially on Christmas. It's a pity that the names of the schools were not mentioned, at least we knew which one they were in.

Thank you, Anton, for writing. Indeed, when the priest comes to school, the children remember it for a long time - my grandson in Kazan told the same thing. It’s a pity that they didn’t name the schools in the article; I could have told my friends which one to go to. Do such meetings often happen in Yaroslavl or only on major holidays?

Good point from all of you about the school names being left out. My eldest lad went to a C of E school here in London years back, and the local priest popping in for Nativity made more impression than half the lessons. Pity the article didn’t say which ones in Perm so folk could pass it on.

Yes, it's nice that the priests visit the children, especially at Christmas – my two elementary students also remember those visits all year. In Bitola, they come regularly to several schools, but I would also like to mention their names, at least to know exactly where they were. In Tetovo, which school do they go to most often?

Yeah, it's a shame they didn't name the schools – my lad's school in Salford had a priest drop in for the Christmas play last year and the kids still talk about it months later. Same as what Anton and the others said from Yaroslavl and Tetovo. Would've been handy to know exactly where in Perm they went.

Yeah, naming the schools would've helped. Our priest back in Chicago used to swing by the local Orthodox school for their Christmas program every year, and the kids still talk about it. Did your lad stay connected to church after that visit or was it more of a one-off memory?
