On September 28, as part of the All-Russian project "Conversations on Important Matters," a lesson was held for first-year students of the Ul’yanovsk Electromechanical College, conducted by Candidate of Historical Sciences, Father Dimitry Subbotin.

The priest spoke to the students about Grand Princess Elizabeth Feodorovna Romanova—one of the revered saints of the 20th century, who was canonized by the Russian Orthodox Church as a Blessed Martyr.

Father Dimitry recounted the life path of the grand princess, her philanthropy, the establishment of the House of Mercy Marfo-Mariinsky Convent, and her service to others. He paid special attention to how Grand Princess Elizabeth preserved her faith during difficult times of trials.

The priest shared spiritual reflections and answered questions from the students.
