The International Theological Symposium dedicated to the Christian family began in Bucharest: Icon of God's lovetranslated

The International Theological Symposium "The Christian Family - light and witness in contemporary society" began its work on Tuesday in the Aula Magna "Theoctistus the Patriarch" of the Palace of the Patriarchate.
The event takes place between October 5-8, in Bucharest.
The Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel participated; Fr. Wilhelm Dancă, vice-president of the Romanian Academy and delegate of the president of the institution, Marius Andruh; Romeo Moșoiu, Advisor within the Ministry of National Education and representative of the Interim Minister of Education, Mihai Dimian; Ciprian Vasile Olinici, the state secretary for Cults; Marian Preda, rector of the University of Bucharest.
The family in the Church and in society Father Patriarch Daniel emphasized that the family represents an "icon of God's love for humanity" and an "earthly environment of preparation for holiness".
"It becomes the place where Christian virtues are learned and practiced: fervent prayer, humble and merciful love, patience, forgiveness and helping those in need," said His Beatitude.
At the same time, the Patriarch of Romania showed the challenges that the family encounters in today's society.
