The International Symposium of Orthodox Missiology debuted in Bucharesttranslated

The International Orthodox Missiology Symposium started on Monday at the "Justinian Patriarch" Faculty of Theology in Bucharest.

The event marks a century since the establishment of Orthodox Missiology studies at the university level and is dedicated to Professor Vasile Gh. Ispir.

The opening of the symposium took place in the "I. G. Coman" Amphitheater and brought together professors, doctoral students and other representatives of the academic environment.

The mission of the Church  Blessed Father Patriarch Daniel delivered a message entitled "The mission of the Church is to preach the Gospel of Christ and transmit the Christian faith and life to the world."

The message was presented by Archid. Eugen Maftei, diocesan councilor within the Education and Youth Activities Sector of the Archdiocese of Bucharest.

"The most important aspect of the Church's mission is related to confessing and preaching the Truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ," the Patriarch of Romania emphasized.
