In the Tara diocese, the traditional diocesan Princely automobile procession of the cross has ended, which, with the blessing of the Bishop of Tara and Tyukalinsk, is taking place for the ninth time in September. This spiritual event, dedicated to the memory of the Holy Blessed Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky, has become a good tradition for believers of the diocese and the Omsk region.

This year, the religious procession started from the Mother of God Vladimir monastery in the village of Tambovka, Sargat district, on September 11, 2026, at the end of the Divine Liturgy, which was performed by the Head of the Omsk Metropolis, Metropolitan Dionysius and Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsk. Having received a blessing from the archpastors, the crusaders and the clergy set off across the expanses of the Omsk Irtysh region.

During their prayer journey, the crusaders traveled more than a thousand kilometers by car, covering all areas of the north of the Omsk region. Along the way, the participants visited the St. Nicholas Church under construction in the village of Evgashchino, Bolsherechensky district, and the church under construction in the name of St. Nicholas of Serbia in the village of Pologrudovo, Tarsky district.
