Prophet Ezekiel: the ancient “fool” and his mysterious visionstranslated

Continued. Started in No. 15 (671) dated August 12, 2026.
... The Jews who were at the market rush to the house of the prophet. The house is located nearby, on the banks of the Khovar River.
And it’s no longer crowded there! The crowd surrounded Ezekiel, who was squatting and drawing something. But he draws not on paper, but on... brick! He draws a city: houses, streets, towers, fortress walls...
Finally, all the bricks are painted. Ezekiel examines the drawing, places the brick on the ground and begins to shovel clay dust and sand towards it. A powerful earthen rampart is raking in from all sides. After this, the prophet collects several iron sheets and surrounds the shaft with them. Now there are impregnable fortifications around the brick “city.”
-What does this mean, Ezekiel? - they shout at him from the crowd.
But the prophet is silent.
- Don't you understand? - An elderly Jew steps forward. “He’s talking to us again about the siege of Jerusalem!”
People look at each other and nod in agreement. Indeed, everything is very clear: Ezekiel showed how Jerusalem will be completely destroyed. If the prophet had simply announced this, his words would hardly have been listened to. Now everyone is shocked by what they see!
...Time passes. Days and months pass, and at the market there is only talk about new and new...
