Congratulations from Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk on Forest Workers Daytranslated

On the third Sunday of September, Russia celebrates Forest Workers Day - a holiday for those whose profession is related to the protection, restoration and rational use of forest resources. On this occasion, Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk addressed congratulations to the forest industry workers in the region:
— Dear brothers and sisters!
On September 20, we celebrate Forest Workers Day - a holiday of those whose work is associated with the preservation, restoration and enhancement of the forest wealth of our Fatherland. Foresters, rangers, employees of forestry enterprises and reserves, ecologists and forest industry specialists - all of you stand guard over what the Lord has given us in abundance.
The Holy Scripture says: “And the Lord God took the man [whom he had created] and put him in the Garden of Eden to till it and to keep it” (Gen. 2:15). These words remind us that caring for the created world is not just a professional duty, but an obedience given to man by the Creator Himself. The forest is a living testimony to the beauty of God's design, and your work to preserve it is a service filled with deep moral meaning.
This holiday dates back to 1966 and was dedicated to the adoption of Lesnoy…
