Yes, Nicolae, that's exactly how it happens - they start with jokes or simple "truths" and then end up completely changing the way children think. My boy and I try to talk a little in the evening about what he saw online, not just tell him to "check twice". Do you think it would help if we did this regularly, as a habit?

Yes, those first “harmless” jokes or simple “truths” are exactly how it starts, like Ana said. With my younger cousins I’ve started asking them to show me one thing they watched each evening, not to lecture but just to talk it through together. It seems to make them pause before they hit share.
