It is recalled that a few months ago the Ecumenical Patriarch Mr. Bartholomeus had gone to Ankara and visited President Erdoğan with the issue of opening the Halki Theological School being at the center of attention.

In his statement to CCN Turk, he clarified that the necessary actions have been taken by the Ministry and now the political leadership of the country has the final say.
