Emotion at the departure of the Holy Icon of Panagia Faneromeni from Edipsostranslated

Immediately after the celebration of the Orthrus and the Divine Liturgy in the Holy Church of Agios Panteleimonos Loutron Edipsos, on the morning of Friday July 24, 2026, the Holy Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos was performed, before the miraculous Holy Icon, which for a number of days blessed and sanctified the spa town of Edipsos. The Holy Prayer was performed by the Priests of the Holy Church, Protopresbyter Fr. Nikolaos Argyriou and Protopresbyter Fr. Christos Ngelas.

The sacred hymns of the Prayer were enthusiastically performed by the women's choir of the parish, creating an atmosphere of deep prayer and spiritual emotion.

Before the dismissal, the Head of the Holy Church, Protopresbyter Fr. Nikolaos Argyriou, expressed his warm thanks to the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Chalkidos, Istiaea and Northern Sporades, Mr. Chrysostomos, for the blessing and the permission to host the Holy Icon of Panagia Faneromeni, so that the faithful of the spa town would be entitled to worship this precious spiritual treasure.
