The choice of the path of life is certainly an important thing and one must deal with it seriously. However, it is not everything. Because whether one chooses to have a family or chooses the consecrated life of a monk, one chooses a path.

The question is not the road, but Christ. He is both the way and the end of the way.
"All things and in all Christ" as the great apostle says. And this means that if we always have Him in front of us, that is, if our daily priority is how to stand in His holy commandments so that with love for Him we commune with Him in the holy mysteries of our Church, the type of road that we follow. So one can become a monk, one can start a family, one can simply stay, as the saying goes, in one's home: if one keeps the love of Christ, one will be saved.
So one should not absolutize the choice of the road. Even if he makes a wrong choice, when he is made for a family to become a monk, or when he is more suited to the solitary dedication of having a family, it does not mean...
