Jordan: Meeting on the construction of a museum at the Place of Baptism of Christtranslated

An important meeting on the vision, content and design of the proposed museum presentation of the Museum of the Baptism of the Lord was held on Monday, August 17 at the building of the St. Ignatius Academy for the Innovation of Knowledge in Amman. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Churches of Jordan, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Development of the Area of ​​the Baptistery, dr. Tharwat al-Masalha, as well as the General Director of the Jordanian Museum and President of the country's Museum Association, engineer Ihab Amarin.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President of the Council of Church Leaders of Jordan, His Eminence Metropolitan Christoforos, and His Eminence Metropolitan Iyad Tual welcomed the participants, underlining the importance of the joint effort to develop a museum content worthy of the unique religious and historical importance of the site of the Baptism of the Lord.
