Kingsley Theodosios: "We did not come to do something new; we came to continue what we received."translated

Today, on Sunday before the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, the Very Reverend Metropolitan of Kingsley Theodosios presided over the Divine Liturgy in the Cathedral Church of Saint Mark the Apostle in the great city of Kingsley. With him officiated the Archimandrites Chrysostomos, Nikiforos, and Paisios; the Protodeacons Callinicos and Raphael, from the Holy Metropolitanate of Kanagka, and Jacob; the Archdeacon Hierotheos and the Deacon Aaron.
An apostolic reading was read from a pastoral letter of the Very Reverend, with special reference to tomorrow's great feast of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-Giving Cross. In his message, Metropolitan Theodosios highlighted the importance and place of the Cross in the life of every person as a point of sacrifice, hope, and salvation.
At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the Very Reverend presented to the faithful the new Archimandrite Paisios, who had returned from Alexandria of Egypt, where he received his ordination to the presbyterate and his appointment as archimandrite by the seven hands of the Most Blessed Patriarch and Pope of Alexandria and all Africa Theophilos II.
