With the widespread participation of hundreds of pilgrims from all over Crete, for one more year, on the established date of the eve of the Great Feast of the Dormition of the Blessed Virgin Mary, August 13, 2026, the Processional Descent of the Holy Icon of Panagia Harakiani from the Holy Monastery of the Holy Forerunner of Atalis Bali to the Holy Theotokos Pilgrimage of the Virgin Mary took place Harakianis, on the Heraklion-Rethymno National Road. The Litanetic Procession was presided over by Rev. Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, Mr. Prodromos, standing under the Protosignol and Professor of the Holy Monastery, Panosiol.
