Diocese of Mexico: First awarding of New Greek certificatestranslated

The first awarding of certificates of the Intensive Modern Greek Course was celebrated with great joy at the Metropolitan Orthodox University of the Metropolis of Mexico. This initiative promoted by His Eminence the Metropolitan of Mexico, Mr. Iakovos, with the aim of bringing closer to the language, culture and richness of the Greek tradition to all those who are interested in them. As the Holy Metropolis states in its announcement:

" Today we celebrate much more than the completion of a course. We celebrate the effort, perseverance and enthusiasm of our first generation, who paved the way for those who will continue to learn and discover the beauty of the Greek language.

Congratulations to all our first students! May this be just the beginning of a journey full of new knowledge and experiences."

The ceremony was graced by the presence of the Greek Ambassador Mr. Nikolaos Kotrokois and the Consul Mr. Georgios Rousomoustakakis.
