The celebration of the Synagogue of Panagia Glystriana in Symitranslated
On Monday, August 31, 2026, and the feast of the Deposition of the Holy Belt of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Symi, Tilos, Chalkis and Kastellorizos, Mr. Chrysostomos, officiated at Orthros and celebrated the Divine Liturgy, in the magnificent parish Church of Agios Athanasios, Symi, on the feast of Theomitoros and the Synagogue of the Holy Icon of the Most Holy Theotokos, the so-called "Glystrian", which has been treasured in Agios Athanasios for many decades.
