Meetings of Archbishop Hieronymos with a Delegation of the Xenophon Monastery of Mount Athos and the Chanters of Atticatranslated

The Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, Mr. Ieronymos, had a meeting with the Delegation of the Holy Monastery of Xenophon of Mount Athos this morning. The Delegation handed His Beatitude the invitation to attend the event organized by the Holy Monastery on Monday, September 21 in the afternoon, at the Athens Concert Hall.

The event with the title: "In one spirit" is held on the occasion of the completion of fifty years since the abandonment of the Brotherhood, from Meteora to Mount Athos, and the enthronement of Archimandrite Alexios as Professor, in October 1976.

Afterwards, the Archbishop had a formal meeting with the new Board of Directors of the Association of Chanters of Attica "Romanos o Melodos & Ioannis o Damaskinos". During the visit, the members of the Board of Directors they had the opportunity to pay their respects and discuss with His Beatitude matters concerning the liturgical world, the ministry in the lecterns and the protection of the art of chanting.
